How to Make Flour Safe for Raw Cookie Dough Ice Cream
If you want to enjoy cookie dough ice cream without having to worry about food safety, then you need to make sure your flour is safe to eat. The best way to do this is to heat treat your flour.
It's really easy to do, and only takes a few minutes. Simply place your flour in a glass dish and microwave it for about 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring at every 15-second increment. This will kill any bacteria that may be present in the flour.
Let the flour cool completely before using it in your cookie dough ice cream recipe.
