How to Make Oreo Truffles
First, crush the Oreo cookies. Make sure the crushed mixture is fine with no large lumps.
Set aside 2 tablespoon of the crushed Oreo cookies.
Combine the cream cheese and the salt and mix it together with an electric hand mixer.
Add the larger portion of crushed Oreo cookies and mix until the dough is consistent throughout.
Scoop small 2-3 tablespoon sized-balls from the mixture and roll in your hands to make them a neat ball shape. Place the balls on a parchment-paper lined cake pan. Keep making balls until you have used all of the mixture.
When you have finished with the balls place them in the fridge to set.
While the balls are setting, melt the chocolate.
Place each of the balls in the chocolate, using a spoon to help coat them completely, then sprinkle a little bit of the reserved crushed Oreo cookies on the top.
Repeat the same procedure until you cover all of the cookie balls with chocolate.
Set the balls in the fridge to chill for an additional 10 minutes to get the chocolate to set. Then enjoy!
