PREP TIME: 15 Minutes CHILL TIME: 1 1.5 Hours
– 1 large box and 1 small box strawberry jello (or unflavored gelatin for a stronger champagne flavor) – 3 cups hot water – 2 cups cold water – 1 cup champagne – 2 cups strawberries
Place the jello in a large bowl and add 3 cups of boiling water. Stir until the jello dissolves completely. Add the cold water and the champagne to the jello mixture.
Leave this to chill in the fridge for around 1 1/2 hours but do not allow it to set completely. Remove 1 1/2 cups of the mixture and set aside. Slice the strawberries. Add the strawberries to the larger portion of the jello mixture and stir together well.
Mix the reserved jello mixture with a mixer until it becomes foamy. Add a few spoonfuls of this mixture on the top of the glass and serve.
Place the strawberries and jello mixture in a serving glass.
