Soft, citrusy and so delicious- that’s what these lemon protein balls are all about
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS: 1 cup Medjool dates 1 cup brazil nuts 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder 1 tbsp maca powder 1tbsp cashew butter ½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp salt 1 tbsp lemon zest Water as needed
Put the dates and the brazil nuts in a food processor until you get crumbs.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the water.
Mix in the processor until you get a dough. If the dough is not creating it means the ingredients are too dry so start adding water spoon by spoon until you are happy with the dough
Create balls out of the dough and enjoy the protein balls.
You can put some lemon zest on the top of the balls.
You can leave them in the fridge for a few minutes before you serve them.
