Sweet, creamy, and decadent- this honey panna cotta recipe is surprisingly easy to make and yet, so elegant and fancy.
PREP TIME: 30 Minutes CHILL TIME: 4 Hours 30 Minutes
INGREDIENTS: 4 tbsp milk 2 ¼ tsp gelatin 2 cups heavy cream 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tbsp vanilla extract) ⅓ cup honey ⅓ cup sugar 2 tsp lemon juice 2 cups plain Greek yogurt 1 tsp gelatin 2 tbsp water ⅓ cup honey 1 cup water
Pour the milk into a small bowl, add the gelatin, stir and leave it for 5 minutes.
In a pot add the heavy cream, vanilla, honey, and sugar until it starts to boil.
Add the lemon juice and stir.
Leave it to chill. Add the gelatin mixture and mix until it is melted.
Add the plain greek yogurt and stir again until the mixture is well mixed. Pour the mixture into serving glasses, leaving some space on the top.
For the jelly combine the water and the gelatin, mix it and leave it for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, boil the honey with the water mixing constantly.
Take it off the heat and pour the gelatin in. stir until the gelatin melts.
Pour the mixture on the top of the glasses and leave it to chill for another hour.
Decorate with caramelized decorations.
Store these for up to 1 week in the freezer. While they can last longer, they are best within the first week of preparing.
